Wicked Jazz Sounds 

Wicked Jazz Sounds is een Amsterdamse evenementenorganisatie die is uitgegroeid tot een platform voor muziekliefhebbers. De twee oprichters Phil Horneman en Manne van der Zee startten in 2002 met een clubnacht waar dj’s en livemuzikanten samen improviseerden op een dansvloer-gerichte mix van funk, soul, hiphop, house, jazz en meer.

De groep bestaat uit onder anderen dj’s, muzikanten, vj’s, promotors, ambassadeurs, fotografen en dansers.

ROSEYE

ROSEYE is een vijfkoppige formatie rond zangeres Tallulah Rose. ROSEYE combineert psychedelische grooves met etherische verhalen. Hun debuutalbum komt in april 2024 uit op het label van Super-Sonic Jazz. ROSEYE onderzoekt thema’s als seksualiteit, spiritualiteit, natuur en verdriet. Dit 5-delige ensemble uit Amsterdam draagt hun diverse Europese wortels uit in een mix van soul, jazz, gospel, hiphop en elektronica. Geleid door inspiratie van Jordan Rakei, Hiatus Kaiyote en Robert Glasper, is de muziek van ROSEYE een eerlijke, groovende en explosieve, maar ook intiem soulvolle communie van geluiden. Voorprogramma: Wicked Jazz Sounds.

Phil Horneman (Wicked Jazz Sounds)

Wicked Jazz Sounds is an Amsterdam-based event organization that has become a platform for music lovers. The two founders Phil Horneman and Manne van der Zee started a club night in 2002 where DJs and live musicians improvised together on a dance-floor-oriented mix of funk, soul, hip-hop, house, jazz and more.

The group includes DJs, musicians, vjs, promoters, ambassadors, photographers and dancers.

ROSEYE

ROSEYE is a five-member formation centered around singer Tallulah Rose. ROSEYE combines psychedelic grooves with ethereal storytelling. Their debut album will be released in April 2024 on the Super-Sonic Jazz label. ROSEYE explores themes of sexuality, spirituality, nature and grief. This 5-piece ensemble from Amsterdam conveys their diverse European roots in a mix of soul, jazz, gospel, hip-hop and electronica. Guided by inspirations from Jordan Rakei, Hiatus Kaiyote and Robert Glasper, ROSEYE’s music is an honest, grooving and explosive, but also intimately soulful communion of sounds.
