When you think of a theater, you may soon think of a subsidized hall with ascending fixed red velvet seats, a small bar in the hallway and a lukewarm cup of coffee from the automatic coffee machine.
And if you want to rent something for a business meeting, the hall is often already occupied by a performance or the conversion is too expensive to organize a conference.
TOBACCO Theater is a non-subsidized theater and is partly dependent on the hall rental to make the cultural aspect happen. This gives a completely different view on the business events.Our 10 halls are standard equipped with fantastic technology, a movable stage, flat floor and excellent theater lighting. In addition, we are the proud owners of a very extensive catering kitchen and that is one to lick your fingers at.

Congress
Everything is available in TOBACCO to organize a successful (international) conference or symposium for up to 450 people.
A spacious theater hall with fantastic Northern Lights, eight break-out rooms and all modern facilities are available to make your conference successful. A day that is all about knowledge, inspiration, meeting new people and networking.
Choose the total experience and end the conference with your guests with a culinary dinner. Our chef Dennis Huwaë will surprise them with his enchanting signature dishes! Breakfast and lunch are also prepared in-house by our team.
Meeting
In our multifunctional building are many possibilities for meetings. From an intimate to a large-scale meeting. Many of our rooms can be rented exclusively. We have various break-out rooms in the TOBACCO Theater and all necessary facilities are available to make your meeting a success. You can choose from various meeting packages. The choice is yours! We also provide, if desired, your breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks.

Product presentattion
The combination of Amsterdam, theater, culture, decoration and commercial interpretation of a product presentation has proven itself as a great success in the TOBACCO Theater.
The audience is surprised by the location, the products get extra flow and the flexible attitude of our team makes every presentation an exclusive experience. As a result of which, companies such as Netflix, Ben & Jerry’s, Yves Saint Laurent and Philips have returned to our theater several times.
Company party
The theater is made for it: a successful staff party, businessevent, dinner with dance or just an original party with your colleagues!
The TOBACCO Theater is ideal for organizing a beautiful party without having the need to wear ear plugs. We don’t like that ourselves. But a beautiful party with good music, beautiful dishes, easy-talk spaces and subtle decoration… That is what we would like to organize, together with you! We have fantastic lighting, great sound and an original setting. Because who can say that they danced in a theater? YOU!
Dinner
Our culinary catering kitchen is located in the catacombs of our monumental building. A very richly equipped kitchen where our team processes the fresh and imported products.
The kitchen is headed by chef Dennis Huwaë, nominated for ‘The Best Chef Award’ and proud member of ‘Les Patrons Cuisiniers’. This is the level at which we like to act on ánd around your plate and serve our guests. From an intimate dinner for 10 people to a walking dinner for 600 guests, we provide unforgettable culinary delights.

Theater dinners are fantastic evenings to treat your staff or international guests in an exclusive and cultural way with highly honored entertainment.
The setting is unique: an intimate atmosphere with luxurious tables, dozens of candles, atmospheric lighting of the hall, fine wines, a star dinner and international entertainment from all over Europe!
