When you think of a theater, you might think of a subsidized hall with ascending fixed red velvet chairs, a small bar in the hallway and a lukewarm cup of coffee from The Hague.
And if you want to rent something for a business meeting, the room is often already occupied by a performance or the conversion is too expensive to organize a conference.
TOBACCO is a non-subsidized theater and partly depends on the rental of the auditorium to allow the culture to flourish. This gives a completely different view of the business events for both parties. Our 10 halls have fantastic technology, a movable stage, flat floor and excellent theater lighting as standard. In addition, we are the proud owners of a very extensive catering kitchen and that is one to lick your fingers at.

Congress
In TOBACCO everything is available to organize a successful (international) conference or symposium for up to 450 people.
A spacious theater room with a fantastic northern lights, nine break-out rooms and all modern facilities are available for a successful conference. A day entirely devoted to knowledge, inspiration, meeting and networking.
Opt for the total experience and conclude the conference with your guests with a culinary dinner. Our chef Dennis Huwaë likes to surprise them with his enchanting signature dishes! Breakfast and lunch are also prepared in-house by our team.
Meeting
In our multifunctional building there are many possibilities for meetings. From an intimate to a large-scale meeting. Many of our rooms can be hired exclusively. In the TOBACCO Theater we have various break-out rooms and all necessary facilities are available to make a meeting a success. With us you can choose from various meeting packages. This choice is yours. If desired, we can also provide your breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks afterwards.

Product presentation
The combination of Amsterdam, theater, culture, decoration and commercial interpretation of a product presentation has proven itself in recent years as a great success in the TOBACCO Theater.
The audience is surprised by the location, the products get extra flow and the flexible attitude of our team makes every presentation an exclusive experience, as a result of which companies such as Netflix, Ben & Jerry’s, Yves Saint Laurent and Philips have returned to our theater several times with compliments. We are very proud of these pat on the back, but we are far from finished with our product!
Business event
The theater is made for it. A successful staff party, company event, dinner with dance or just an original party with your colleagues!
The TOBACCO Theater is ideal for organizing a nice party without having to walk in with the ear plugs directly. We don’t like that ourselves. But a great party with good music, beautiful dishes, easy-talk rooms and subtle decoration… That is what we would love to organize together with you! We have fantastic light, great sound and an original setting. Because who can say that he has danced in a theater? YOU!
Dinner
Our culinary catering kitchen is located in the catacombs of our city monument. A very richly equipped kitchen where our team processes the fresh and self-imported products.
The kitchen is headed by chef Dennis Huwaë, nominated for ‘The Best Chef Award’ and a member of ‘Les Patrons Cuisiniers’. This is the level at which we like to act on and around your plate and to serve our guests. From an intimate dinner for 10 people to a walking dinner for 600 guests, we provide an unforgettable culinary masterpiece.
